in the entire Germany that holds population of 4.5 million within its metropolitan area. The city of Berlin is best known for its historical relationships as the German Capital, internationality and tolerance, lively nightlife, many cafes, clubs, and bars, street art, and many museums, palaces, and other locations of historic interest. Berlin has been greatly developed after the fall of the Berlin Wall in the year 1989.
The main language of Berlin is German, but you can easily get the information in English and rarely in French. Sharing few words with the locals will be proved great as they help you understand the city closely. In fact, if you are planning to explore the historical city of Berlin then get there through various airports. Due to the division of Berlin into two, many major parts of Berlin’s infrastructure like airports were built on both the sides. So there are two airports to reach to the city of Berin. Tegel International Airport and the Schonefeld are the two airports that serve the city of Berlin.
If you want to travel by bus then the city serves more than 350 destinations in Europe. Besides this, trains and cars are also functions into the city very well. The city of Berlin is very huge, so the transportation is very well managed. There
are many notable museums worth visiting like Altes Museum, Deutsches Historisches Museum, Pergamon Museum, Bode Museum, Alte Nationalgalerie, Neues Museum, Judisches Museum, Gemaldegalerie, Neue Nationalgalerie, Museum fur Naturkunde, Mauermuseum, Ethnological Museum, Museum of European Cultures, Topography of Terror, DDR Museum, Musikinstrumenten Museum, Berliner Medizinhistorisches Museum der Charite, Ramones Museum Berlin, and the Berlinische Galerie.
Besides these museums, Berlin has some private art galleries like Art Center Berlin Friedrichstraße, Galerie Eigen & Art, and the loop – raum fur aktuelle kunst. Some of the beautiful churches where you should visit are the Berlin Dom, Deutscher Dom, Franzosischer Dom, Kaiser Wilhelm Gedachtniskirche, Marienkirche, Nikolaikirche, St. Hedwigs Kathedrale, and the Friedrichswerdersche Kirche. Berlin has two zoos and an a
quarium that can be explored like Berlin Zoo, Aquarium and the Tierpark Berlin.
One of the best ways to explore the city of Berlin is to go on a tour.
