  • Miniatur Wunderland Unveiled Largest Model Airport in the World
    Miniatur Wunderland, a theme park of sorts in Hamburg, Germany, has acquired fame for housing a range of miniature wonders such as the biggest railway model in the world. Recently the company made public another project of amazing proportions – the largest scale model airport in the world. The project amounted to a total of $ 5 M in constructing the airport and more than six years were spent in developing it. The airport is modeled on Hamburg Airport, which is the oldest operational airport in the history of commercial aviation. The airport is now opened for public.     What: Love parade Metropole Ruhr When: 24th July, 2010 Where: Touring different cities and hoping to return to its birthplace, Berlin. In Rewind Mode: The brainchild of German DJ, Dr. Motte – the Love Parade was Motte’s response to the need for a free and mobile acid-house party which would be conducted in the streets. The first ever party happened in the year 1989 and brought together a measly 150 revelers. They followed two cars which help cassette recorders.
