    Winter Festival In Baltic Countries
    Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania are known to celebrate the months of winter pretty enthusiastically. They are celebrated in a manner that befits folk traditions, Christmas markets, films and fireworks. Welcome to the Baltic Winter Festival. Latvia Christmas Market (November/December): The Old Town of Riga is decked up during the time of Christmas; and the traditional Christmas tree is erected in the central part of the market in full display. The market stalls come up and the tents get pitched. The visitors to these markets could visit the shops and the stalls alike; and pick up some folk handicrafts and decorations for their houses and their Christmas trees.
