    About Bolshoi: The Bolshoi Theater is an opera and theater company that is located in Moscow, Russia. It is open to performances of ballet and opera. In earlier times, this theater was home to the renowned and respected Ballet of the Moscow Imperial Bolshoi Theater. In its early years, Bolshoi was overshadowed by another theater called the Imperial Theater. However, this changed during the Soviet era, and the Bolshoi grew in power and importance and soon became the center of culture, of sorts.   • Cathedral of St. Basil: A captivating structure of Moscow
    The Cathedral of St. Basil is a well-known tourist attraction that was erected on the Red Square from the year 1555 to 1561 in Moscow, Russia. The Cathedral is renowned as the Cathedral of Basil the Blessed, which is actually the Cathedral of Intercession of Theotokos on the Moat. The cathedral was the tallest building in the city of Moscow until the conclusion of the Ivan the Great Bell Tower in the year 1600. The original building of the cathedral was recognized as the Trinity Church, which was later changed to Trinity Cathedral that includes eight side churches arranged around the ninth central church of Intercession. The site is a Russian Orthodox cathedral that became a popular tourist attraction and offers amazing features of old world.   • White Nights Festival: Where sun never takes sundowner
    When the rays of sun hit the city, citizens wake up and when the rays of sun goes off, the city goes off to sleep. But in the summer months which are from May to June St Petersburg has sun rays hitting the city and it never get off! The city is so far north, that degree of sunlight present even in night at 3 am will make you feel it’s the twilight in evening. Day seems to go on like forever and sun does set but very late, though it never gets properly dark enough that it can be called as nighttime. Aptly it can be said that sun is not taking a sundowner and not ready to leave St Petersburg. Well the reason being White Night Festival (I know its geographical and scientific reason) in Russia’s cultural capital which showcase at its best in the height of summer, where the night is also day.
