    The Capital City Of Slovenia – Ljubljana
    Ljubljana (which is pronounced as loob-lee-anna) is the capital city of Slovenia. A legend from Greek Mythology, associated with the formation of this city goes like this - According to the end of the legend of ‘Jason and the Golden Fleece’, Jason had made a run for it with the shiny garment. He stumbled into a dragon at the periphery of the current day Ljubljanica (the river that runs here) and he got into one tough tussle with this fiery creature. A noble battle for his rights ensued; and a whole lot of lost swords and sandals later Jason appeared to come out in a win. This marked the birth of the city of Ljubljana. The spot where the beast fell became the city. The dragon is the symbol of the modern day city as well; and has its own river-crossing (how cool!) which is known as Zmajski Most (translates to ‘Dragon  [...]
