    The Peak of Eiger, Switzerland
    Eiger is one of the most famous and written about peaks in the world; and it deserves this recognition given the fact that it is one of the toughest faces to climb. Located in Switzerland, this peak face has captivated the hearts and minds of climber and non-climbers alike. The first attempt that can be considered noteworthy was carried out in the year 1934. This Eiger is a striking peak and looks fabulous from almost any angle that you look at it from. The easiest way to get to the summit will be the West Flank. This is a very complex route and has difficulty levels that match that of the Hornli Arete that is there on the Matterhorn.
