This Norway capital city features some of the greatest and most interesting museums to be ever visited on globe. The great, old style architecture is what earns the place its USP. A culture displayed just by the very look of the city is mesmerizing and enough to proclaim Oslo one of its kind. What makes Oslo what it truly is, is the way this capital city of Norway has restored and resisted the face of changing times, from all the lineage of many intruders and so on. It comes as no wonder, how does the city derive its perfect architectural aura!

History of Oslo
Once been an insignificant part of the Hanseatic colony under the tyrannical rule of King Harald Hardrade ranging back to the time period of 1150 AD, but along with the quick passage of time, in the year of 1930, the town was hit by an unfortunate breakout of epidemic of plague, and nearly over half the population fell prey to this vicious disease and deceased away. Subsequent to this sad occurrence, for over two hundred years, hardly anyone remembered Oslo, to make it a lost city.
With the stepping down of Danish Norwegian King Christian IV, who took charge to revamp the city, after the facing a sad epidemic in the past. After, the passage of some more years, Oslo was finally made to be the capital city of Norway, which flourished so quick that hardly any other place could keep with the pace of it.

Bergen
Once a port to the Hanseatic, today the site attracts many visitors to the UNESCO declared world heritage site of the cluster of structures constructed during the ancient period in the 17th century and some even prior to that. Visitors can go upto the top of Mount Ulriken with the help of the cable-car service available. The scenic views from the cable cars are breath-taking as one nearly feels as though traveling in time.
Stavanger
Heart of the North Sea oil industry, the neighboring city of Stavenger is regarded to be at the fourth number in size after Oslo, Bergen and Trondheim. The area is home to ninety-six thousand residents. The Old area of Stavenger can be spectacled to find some of the oldest cluster of wooden structures of the European styles. One can also visit the Norwegian Oil Museum, Rogaland Art Gallery and also the peculiar Fish Cannery Museum.
